An international award-winning director / producer known for his work across the US, UK & Ireland. With over twenty five years experience, in Comedy, Drama, Animation and Entertainment projects. Simon works on an ongoing basis for many national and international productions.

Currently producing comedy projects in the US, notably with Bento Box / Fox Entertainment for Netflix, some of these projects include; Season 3 of the successful Paradise PD, Season 1 of comedy parody S.M.A.S.H. & Season 1 of adult comedy Farzar. Additionally he was creative Producer on six short films, for Seriously Entertainment, based on the Best Fiends game characters. And coupled with the role of Development Producer on numerous international television projects, Simon has also Produced and Exec. Produced comedy, drama and shinny floor projects in the UK & Ireland.

Directed and Showrun, episodic comedy drama, one off series, short films and pilots.
Such as The South Westerlies, - Orla Brady (Picard, The Foreigner), Eileen Walsh (Catastrophe, Magdalene Sisters) & Patrick Bergin (Sleeping with the Enemy, Patriot Games) - AcornTV/RTE/ZDF/N2. His period drama reel includes BBC’s Father Brown - Mark Williams (Harry Potter) & Sorcha Cusack (Snatch) and comedy drama Nowhere Fast (Alison Spittle/ Cathy Belton) along with UKTV’s BULL - Matt Lucas (Alice in Wonderland, Brides Maid), Maureen Lipman (The Pianist), Robert Lindsay (Maleficent, My Family). Simon has also directed 100's of hours of UK continuing drama and BBC3 shorts such as Dead Air.
His comedy work continues with BBC2’s sketch show Watson & Oliver (Hugo Speer / Adrian Scarborough / Felicity Montagu ), STARZ US Bronx Bunny Show (Mark Hamill / Howie Mandel / Richard Schiff) and BBC’s multi award winning factual-comedy show Horrible Histories (Ronan Atkinson/ Ben Miller/ Simon Farnaby / Kevin Eldon). HIs children’s tv works has included Moon and Me (NBC / BBC), Furchester Hotel (Sesame St / Cbeebies), Wildwoods (Hulu / ITV) and ROY (RTE/CBBC). Simon has also directed chart topping music videos, commercials, shorts and Close Encounters with magic!

Several hundreds hours of unscripted and mutli-camera work, which comprises of world lead formats, producing original concepts and fact-ent shows. Projects ranging from quiz, Mastermind - TV3 to international game shows like Family Feud and Take me Out, to long running chat show The Late Late Show - RTE and large scale live music events such as the Jnr. Eurovision song contest - EBU. Live international festivals and events from St Patricks day, Dublin to Heineken Green Energy festival and old school prank show Off Their Rockers- ITV to Fact-Ent documentaries, such as U2's New York Tumble.
Simon has made a huge array of programming throughout his career, and was co-founder of Irish company ShinAwiL Productions. To date he has achieved many Awards including, several IFTA wins, BAFTA nominations and an EMMY win to name a few.
